Green Coffee Bean Extract

Green coffee bean extract comes from coffee beans that haven’t been roasted. Coffee beans contain compounds known as chlorogenic acids. Some believe that this compound has antioxidant effects, help lower blood pressure and help to lose weight. Roasting coffee reduces chlorogenic acid content, which is why drinking coffee isn’t thought to have the same weight loss effects as green coffee extract.

Green coffee became popular for weight loss after being mentioned on the Dr Oz show referred to it as “the green coffee bean that burns fat fast” and claims that no exercise or diet is needed.
