I am a Finance leader who turns complex numbers into clear decisions. I focus on cash flow, forecasting, and performance reporting, and I’m a bit of an automation and AI nerd, always building simple tools to make finance easier. Outside work, I’m usually reading, running, or doing yoga.
I have spent more than 25 years in finance across a wide range of industries, from retail and fashion to healthcare and manufacturing, including a spell as Financial Controller at Gucci. That breadth turns out to be useful, because the numbers behave differently in every sector and understanding why is most of the job.
What I care about most is that finance sits inside the business rather than being an office down the corridor with a closed door. I would rather be out on the floor asking questions than waiting for a month end report to tell me something I could have known three weeks earlier. In practice that means rolling cash flow forecasts people actually trust, reporting that shows where margin is really made, and systems that take on the repetitive work.
