Supplement Factory Ltd
Financial year ending 2025/2026

Introduction

Supplement Factory Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our own business and in our supply chains. We regard any form of forced labour, bonded labour, child labour or human trafficking as wholly unacceptable, and we will not knowingly work with any organisation that is involved in them.

This statement is made on a voluntary basis, as Supplement Factory Ltd falls below the turnover threshold set out in section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and sets out the steps we have taken during the financial year ending 2025/2026 to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or our supply chains.

Our Organisation

Supplement Factory Ltd, company number 07816763, is a United Kingdom contract manufacturer of nutritional food supplements. We have traded since 2007 and were incorporated in 2011. We manufacture capsules, tablets, gummies, powders, softgels, beadlets and liquid supplements for health and wellness brands in the United Kingdom and internationally.

We operate from Orbital Park, Axiom, Hall Avenue, Ashford, Kent TN24 0AA, and we employ approximately 49 people directly.

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains consist principally of raw material and ingredient suppliers, packaging suppliers, laboratory and testing services, logistics and distribution providers, and providers of services to our site.

We source both within the United Kingdom and internationally. We recognise that ingredient supply chains can extend beyond our direct suppliers and that risk is not always visible at the first tier.

Policies

Supplement Factory has in place an Ethical Trading policy, a Whistleblowing policy, a Recruitment policy, a Supplier Code of Conduct and an Approved Supplier procedure.

Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

We operate a documented approved supplier process, new suppliers are assessed before approval, existing suppliers are reviewed on a defined cycle, and supplier approval includes an assessment of ethical and labour standards.

We are a member of Sedex, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange, and maintain a Sedex self assessment questionnaire for our site.

We hold BRCGS and GMP certification, and our site is subject to periodic third party audit and welcome customer audits and inspections upon request and appointment.

In our own operations we verify the right to work of every employee before employment begins, we pay at or above the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage, and we do not charge workers any fee to obtain work. Where we use agency labour we require the agency to confirm the same standards.

Training

Modern slavery awareness training has been completed by our Head of Operations, who holds responsibility for ethical trading and supplier approval. We are extending this training to staff with purchasing, recruitment and supervisory responsibilities.

Measuring Effectiveness

We will measure the effectiveness of these steps using the following indicators:

  • The proportion of suppliers who have completed an ethical assessment
  • The number of modern slavery concerns raised and how each was resolved
  • Completion of awareness training by relevant staff
  • Any findings from third party ethical audits of our site

Reporting a Concern

Anyone who has a concern about modern slavery in our business or our supply chain is encouraged to raise it. Concerns may be reported to [email protected], and may be raised confidentially. We will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.
