What are private label Cold and Flu tablets?

A traditional herbal medicine with long-standing use as a cold and flu remedy.

With over a quarter of adults in the UK using herbal medicines but with an increasingly educated consumer base, how can you stand out and offer superior standards?

  • Relieves the symptoms of colds and flu and can also be taken as a preventative measure during the winter season.

Active ingredients per tablet:

  • Echinacea Purpurea root dry extract: 56mg, equivalent to 338-450mg of Echinacea Purpurea root.

Dose for adults: Take 1-2 tablets twice a day. Start at the first signs of a common cold.

Packaging information

Echinacea Cold & Flu tablets are available in blister strips, currently marketed in 30 tablets per pack. Different pack sizes can be created depending on your packaging needs.

Any packaging design can be created for a private label. This will need to be approved by the government body – the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and we will liaise on your behalf with the MHRA for all packaging and product name approval to make this a smooth process.

The approved claim which has been granted for use on the pack is:

Technical information

Echinacea has a long history of medical use for a wide variety of conditions but mainly for infections.

It’s current medical use focuses on the prevention and treatment of the common cold, influenza and other upper respiratory tract infections.
