NSF Good Manufacturing Process
Supplement Factory are proud to announce that we are now a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) facility registered by NSF International. Acquiring the GMP registration is a fantastic milestone for Supplement Factory as we continue to prove our outstanding quality and manufacturing process.
Good manufacturing practices (GMPs) are guidelines that provide a system of processes, procedures and documentation to assure a product has the identity, strength, composition, quality and purity that appear on its label. These GMP requirements are listed in Section 8 of NSF/ANSI 173 which is the only accredited American National Standard in the dietary supplement industry developed in accordance with the FDA’s 21 CFR part 111.
NSF certification ensures that dietary supplements do not contain unacceptable levels of contaminants. NSF developed the only American National Standard for dietary supplements (NSF/ANSI 173) with participation from a balanced stakeholder group including the US Food and Drug administrations (FDA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), other federal agencies and supplement manufacturers for over a decade with sports organisations, to evaluate and test these products and to help ensure their quality and safety.
